1. **Responsibilities**: Wildlife Resource Consulting Services MB Inc. is seeking a Wildlife Biologist to join our team in Winnipeg. We provide environmental assessment services specializing in wildlife to clients in resource use industries.
2. **Minimum Qualifications (Education)**:Master of Science or Doctoral Degree and 5 years of experience.
3. **Experience**:Experience with analysis and reporting of environmental data, extensive knowledge and understanding of wildlife and habitat requirements, knowledge and understanding of ecosystems in Manitoba, collection of field data (including experience with aerial surveys for waterfowl, moose and/or caribou), excellent communication and organizational skills, demonstrated technical writing skills including peer reviewed publications, experience with GIS software, experienced in producing environmental assessment reports, liaising with clients, and experience using Microsoft excel and word. Willing to work in remote areas for extended periods of time is a must.
4. **Selection Criteria **(**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)**: (1) Skill in effective verbal and written communication; (2) Strong organizational and time management skills; (3) Skill in data analysis; (4) Ability to deal effectively with co-workers; (5) Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions; (6) Ability to make decisions and works under limited supervision; (7) Ability to function in a team environment and be an effective team member; and (8) Professional certifications and skills.

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
