Toronto, Canada Steinmetz & Associates Full time

The various job duties will include:

- Assisting the senior lawyer in drafting various legal documents such pleadings, mediation memos, pre-trial memos, motion records
- Conducting legal research on relevant laws, regulations, case precedents and legal articles
- Managing and organizing client files
- Coordinating with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases
- Proofreading legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or Law Clerk with respect to personal injury tort claims
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented with commitment to accuracy and quality
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to write clearly and concisely
- Familiarity with legal drafting and proofreading techniques
- Ability to work well both self-sufficiently and within a team
- Good people skills
- Ability to take initiative when the situation calls for it
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Primafact

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
