Our client is a well-established law firm specializing in personal injury law based in North York, Ontario. They are dedicated to providing exceptional legal services and support to their clients, ensuring justice and fair compensation. They are currently seeking a Personal Injury Law Clerk (Tort) to join their growing team.


Your new role

As a Personal Injury Law Clerk (Tort), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing files from intake to trial
  • Preparing correspondence and requesting medical, employment, and other records
  • Preparing motion records, settlement briefs, and medical briefs
  • Scheduling examinations for discovery, medical legal appointments, mediations, hearings, and court appointments
  • Preparing Affidavit of Documents, handling document production, and following up on undertakings
  • Assisting with trial and hearing preparation
  • Maintaining and updating calendars


What you'll need to succeed

  • A Law Clerk diploma from a recognized college
  • 3-5 years of law clerk experience in personal injury law, in Tort
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Availability to work in North York office 5 days a week
