**The Opportunity**

We are looking for an accomplished Vice President - Regulatory Services**to join our team as part of our financial services business in Montreal.

The Vice President - Regulatory Services reports to Senior Vice President - Regulatory Services and supports the regulatory team. Its tactical responsibilities feed one larger objective: Responsible for the administration and management of a portfolio of regulatory services clients, primarily for FATCA and CRS related services.

Primary responsibilities include:

- management of a small team of staff, review, and oversight over the provision of services, and being the main point of contact for a portfolio of FATCA and CRS, and Economic Substance clients.
- responsible for review and approval of due diligence and classification of account holders under FATCA and CRS, as well as review, preparation, and submission of FATCA and CRS and Economic Substance annual filings.
- staff management and development, liaison with clients, investment managers, colleagues and other third parties in various international jurisdictions

**What You Bring**
- Staff management and development, liaison with clients (internal and external), investment managers, colleagues, and other third parties in various international jurisdictions.
- University graduate, with an accounting or finance professional designation, an excellent academic background, at least five years relevant experience in FATCA and CRS, fund administration or relevant regulatory services in the investment funds industry.
- Good understanding of FATCA and CRS and Economic Substance regulatory requirements, and accounting principles and Financial Statements.
- Experience in working with account holder due diligence and reporting for reporting financial institutions under FATCA and CRS is preferred.
- Prior management of staff is required.
- In addition, he/she will have strong analytical skills, with the ability to read and interpret documentation and legislation in line with specific requirements.
- He/she will have the ability to use initiative, be self-motivated and able to work independently, and work well under pressure to complete high volumes of work under tight deadlines.
- This post requires a high degree of attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency, ability to multi-task and excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required.
