**RFIC Design Co-op**
- Skyworks Solutions is seeking a University student for an RFIC design position for its Diversified Analog Solutions business unit at its location in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This is a 1-year position which starts in September 2024 and runs until the end of August 2025.- **Responsibilities**:
- Lab testing and characterization of highly integrated Wi-Fi Front end modules
- Contributing to the research and development of advanced analog and RF integrated circuits for wireless (Wi-Fi) technology
- Assist in new product engineering and design activities.
- Communicate with employees at all levels in the organization and be able to demonstrate excellent problem solving, data analysis, and critical thinking skills.
**Job Requirements**:
- Currently enrolled in a BS, MS, or Ph.D. academic program in Canada (Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, or related)
- Knowledge of electronic circuits and principles.
- An interest and aptitude in the art of RF/microwave and analog circuit design and measurement.
- An interest and aptitude in semiconductor device physics and integrated circuit design.
- Desirable knowledge/experience includes familiarity with ADS, Cadence, SPICE, or similar design tools.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel and Word) and have an aptitude for quickly learning other company-specific software.
- Self starter with a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
- Good communication, organization, and documentation skills.
