Job SummaryWe are seeking a talented university student for a 12-month co-op term in our Diversified Analog Solutions team. As an RFIC Design Engineer, you will apply sound engineering skills to a variety of assignments in the area of electronic design engineering.
Responsibilities- Perform RF test evaluation of RFICs and multi-chip modules
- Communicate effectively using basic RF terminology
- Set up and perform RF tests, evaluate and summarize test data and present data to the design team
- RF design support of RFICs and multi-chip modules
- Schematic capture, simulation, layout, verification and EM analysis
- Lab prototype debugging, tuning and measurement
- Currently enrolled in a BSEE, MSEE or PhD degree program in Electrical Engineering
- Available to work on-site for the duration of the co-op term
- Basic knowledge of analog and RF electronic circuits and principles
- Suitable background in RF design or concepts
- Knowledge or interest in RF test equipment and techniques
- Familiarity with Keysight ADS, Cadence Virtuoso or similar design tools
- Basic understanding of high-frequency circuit design
- Basic familiarity with RF circuit blocks such as LNAs and PAs
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to work in a hands-on environment
- Strong communication and time-management skills

The typical pay range for an intern is CAD $44.00 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on level of education and the ultimate job duties and requirements.
