The Quality Lead within the Integrated Care Solutions division will report directly to the Manager, Projects and Quality Improvement. This role will be responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives and change management activities within clinical and operational programs. This role will also be responsible for providing continuous quality improvement coordination and support with regards to our ICS quality working groups

The Quality Lead will ensure alignment of initiatives to our mission, vision, and values as well as our annual Quality Improvement Plan. They will have a strong commitment to quality improvement focusing on care that is safe, timely, effective, and patient-centered. They will support in moving ICS along its quality journey and building a culture of continuous quality improvement amongst its workforce.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Implement change management best practices and methodology to support major transformation projects, including moving from paper to electronic documentation
- Lead various QI initiatives including Kaizen events, PDSAs, process mapping sessions, root-cause-analysis workshops etc.
- Support operations in quality areas such as, health and safety, IPAC, inventory management etc. Including support with audits, process documentation, training, and improvement initiatives.
- Support with change management activities on large organizational change initiatives. Ensuring objectives are met on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage.
- Work directly with the program team and key stakeholders to identify change metrics monitor the effectiveness of transformation projects and recommend improvements or other interventions as required
- Communicate project development, status, risks, and lessons learned with operational leaders and appropriate stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Provide knowledge sharing to build capacity of quality improvement tools and strategies amongst the project and quality team and across ICS staff.
- Develop and maintain a repository of QI documentation, resources, tools and education.
- Build a quality focused workforce by engaging and supporting quality champions across our programs.
- Provide expertise in collaborating with business partners to develop initiatives that promote transformation of Integrated Care Solutions through a culture of excellence and quality
- Foster change management capacity building and resilience in support of new systems, including electronic documentation
- Engage ICS frontline staff to encourage sharing of quality improvement ideas that would positively impact their day-to-day operations.
- Provide data analysis and reporting on various quality indicators, and present information to operational leaders to support with decision making.
- Support in the development and maintenance of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP). Ensuring alignment of the project portfolio to organizational strategy and objectives.
- Lead incident debriefing sessions as needed to review and learn from harmful and/or sentinel events. Create action plans to prevent future re-occurrences, including improved processes, documentation and/or staff communication/training.
- Provide support for measuring and documenting PIP events.
- Develop a quarterly Quality Newsletter for all ICS staff to disseminate information regarding quality data reports, progress on QIP initiatives, positive quality stories and near misses, training, and other opportunities to be engaged and involved in QI within ICS.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - GENERAL**
- Participate in various quality committees and sub-groups that are committed to measuring, improving, maintaining, and communicating quality improvements across ICS.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders; and enable commitment to project and deliverables.
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders;
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders;
- Plan and schedule and track project timelines and milestones
- Define project success criteria and communicate to stakeholders during project life cycle
- Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
- Participate in proactive Health and Safety activities while performing all duties.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information.
- Complete all other tasks as required.

**REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS**
- The Quality Lead will report directly to the Manager, Projects and Quality Improvement within the ICS division.
