JLL is hiring a Building Operator to join the maintenance team at one of newest client's downtown commercial portfolio. The Operator will responsible for operation, maintenance and repair of, HVAC related equipment, building operations, lights/tubes, ballast, light lenses, ceiling tiles, systems furniture, plumbing, and electrical/mechanical systems and equipment.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**:
Respond to tenant and user service calls and complaints as quickly and efficiently as possible.
**Perform work in one or more of the maintenance trades**: carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.
Provide assistance as directed to other building operations staff in the areas of preventative maintenance, electrical maintenance, etc.
Perform water treatment testing and analysis, adjust and modify chemical feed to ensure proper levels are being maintained.
Act as relief for other similar positions whose incumbent may be absent from time-to-time.
Complete custodial housekeeping tasks in the mechanical/electrical areas.
Perform other related duties as required and reasonably assigned from time-to-time.

**WHAT YOU BRING**:
3 years’ experience in building repairs/operations
Completion of BES certificate or a trade school are an asset
Basic Interpersonal skills demonstrating professionalism and commitment to service excellence.
Basic verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to comprehend an issue and resolve it and complete logs.
Aptitude to learn state-of-the-art Building Automation Systems in order to be trained for the next level.
Good verbal and written communication skills
React swiftly and accurately to crisis situations.
Respond to unexpected emergency call-backs if problems occur from time-to-time
Ability to perform the requirements of the job with mínimal supervision and complete the assigned tasks per agreed deadlines.
