**Plotter Operator - PTFE**
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
- Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the duties outlined below: _
- CAD Drawing
- Input of drawings using CAD software as required by belting orders or areas of business where CAD is required.
- Keeping records updated on Main GBI server to ensure backup of files
- Transferring records into plotter software as needed
- Training of additional employees on software and input as required by business
- Plotter Operation
- Set up and operate equipment to produce orders within specifications
- DXF drawing should be provided through the Work Order
- Look through the ‘Job Folder’ for the required size
- Check for available material
- Understand the computer terminology within the program
- Mount the proper material on the roll feeder
- Ensure the material is fully cut; if not manually cut where required
- Adjust the operating speed and control the load as required
- Monitor the job to ensure the product meets quality and quantity constraints
- Process material to the next stage
- If next stage is shipping, pack the product
- Package & store the rolls as per established standard
- Print labels
- Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S in own work area and around work units during shift
- Perform all work in a safe manner and fully comply with the safety rules, quality policies and procedures of the company
- Any other duties as assigned by the Management
- This position requires the ability to lift 25 lbs. and to stand for long periods of time
**Knowledge and Skills Requirements**:
- Prior mechanical experience (machine operation, assembly, packaging etc.) and CAD software experience.
- Prior manufacturing experience - 2+ years optimal
- High school Diploma, GED, Technical/Trade School or equivalent experience
- Ability to read and comprehend shop orders and working drawings written in English
- Must be able to read and interpret measuring devices (tape measures, calipers, scales)
- Forklift certification would be an asset
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. & ability to stand for long periods of time
- Computer Proficiency is required
- Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment
- Must be able to work for any employer in Canada
**Salary & Conditions**:
- Job location: Ammega Canada Inc - PTFE Green Belting, 265 Export Boulevard, Mississauga, ON
- Salary: from 20 $ per hour to 21 $ per hour - depending on profile and experience
- Days of work: Monday to Friday - Permanent Full-time position, 40 hours per week
- Shift Timing: Morning shift
