We are currently recruiting a Speech Language Pathologist to join the team at **socialskilled.**

**About the Job**:

**Location**:525 Brooker Ridge, Newmarket ON Unit 101

**Job Type**: Part-time/Full-time Subcontract Position (Private Practice Optional)

**Schedule**:Monday to Friday (evenings and/or weekends as needed)

**Salary**: Rate to be negotiated (Range is between $65 - $90/ hour)

**socialskilled **is looking to hire a fun and knowledgeable Registered Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team. The SLP will be required to provide small group programming to a variety of age groups, as well as direct one on one therapy sessions to individual clients.

If you are a registered SLP with your own private practice, or a new graduate SLP looking to build your practice, with a passion for providing a client centred approach to individual and group therapy, then socialskilled is the perfect place for you

**SLP Duties & Responsibilities**
- Initial Assessments including speech, language, and cognitive communication
- Development of group therapy plans and individual treatment plans
- Supervision for **socialskilled **Program Facilitators providing support during group sessions
- Provide group and individual therapy to clients of various ages (3-18)
- Work with clients from different backgrounds and specialized populations.
- Collaborate and consult with other **socialskilled** staff and interdisciplinary practitioners.
- Provide families with resources, information, and home programs.
- Assist with parent workshops.

**Qualifications**:

- Registration in the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Experience with articulation and fluency an asset
- Superior interpersonal skills, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills
