**Position Overview**

Our Vancouver, BC location is interested in hearing from** VFX Producers **for future openings.

Our Vancouver studio is anticipating a full-time, project-based position that will oversee a project through to completion. The VFX Producer reports to the Heads of Production. This position requires both high level client and internal team management skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the overall financial and profitable well-being of the project
- Detailed bidding process pulling reference from scripts, storyboards, and meetings
- Attention to daily individual artist assignments
- Organizing and publishing delivery calendars based on approved methodology breakdown
- Track and update progress of VFX shots in Shotgun
- Communicate daily with clients, editorial, and in-house management
- Push shots through our pipeline from work-in-progress to final, on a weekly basis
- Complete work within the timeframe allotted and on-budget
- Actualize budgets and project hours and dollars out to completion
- Work quickly and efficiently within established pipeline
- Must take direction well and adapt to changes

**Qualifications**:

- Must have prior experience working for a VFX vendor
- Experience managing 3D and 2D artists in production
- Must have knowledge and experience budgeting VFX, breaking down scripts and boards
- Some nights, weekends, and travel required
- Ability to work within a structured team environment
- Problem solving skills, self-starter, adapt to production changes, motivate artists and teams
- Knowledge of Word, Excel a must
- On-set experience a plus
- Experience with Shotgun a major plus
- Experience producing VFX for television clients a major plus

**Additional information**
- British Columbia Employees Pay Range: $120K - $140K (The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position)
- Zoic does not cover relocation costs.
