- **About This Opportunity**
**Responsibilities**:
Living, coaching and training servant leadership values on a daily bases to develop, train, attract and retain associates and future leaders.
- Adheres to and administers all company policy procedures
- Under the supervision of the Store Leader and in accordance to company policy administrates performance counseling and termination of employees.
- As scheduled by the SL reconciles daily cash and prepares bank deposits. Ensures sufficient coinage in safe.
- As scheduled by the SL reconciliation of all paperwork accurately and completed in timely manner (including all WCB paperwork in the absence of the Store Leader)
- Develops an effective, guest
- centric schedule that maximizes productivity by looking at labor $’s usage to budget, guest counts and tasks required.
- Ensures all Asset Protection guidelines are executed daily to secure merchandise and cash assets and reduce shortage.
- Completion and analysis of shift controls completed on a daily basis.
- Actively participates in GAP Calls (Level III Stores) and is able to develop/articulate go forward plans to minimize shortage.
- Possesses and demonstrates RI knowledge and skills and able to coach CM’s to manage their categories effectively and successfully using company provided concepts, tools and six fundamentals.
- Able to execute and train proper merchandising through effective sales plan execution, ensuring required foot print, selection of product using ABC-Matrices, HP and FM items, new item introduction, utilization of WMC and using appropriate forecasting formulas
Qualifications:
**Are You Ready?**
The Asstiant Store Leader role requires the following:
- High School diploma/GED with minimum 2 years applicable experience; 2 years college; military experience
- Prior successful food service, retail, grocery management experience
- Demonstrated effective training, coaching and conflict resolution skills
- Highly motivated with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Results oriented team player/manager
- Ability to work flexible work schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays and on-call
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent guest services skills
**Physical Requirements**:
The Assistant Store Leader role requires constant standing, bending and reaching. Frequent lifting of one to five pounds and occasional lifting of up to 40-50 pounds is required.
