Role Overview

As a key leader at Lids Inc, the Retail Store Director will be responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service in our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Growth & Performance

Foster a culture that emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and respect while promoting a positive shopping experience for customers. Develop strategies to increase sales, drive revenue growth, and exceed performance targets.

Customer Experience

Lead store teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences by ensuring they are knowledgeable about products, services, and company promotions. Ensure every customer interaction is friendly, courteous, and timely.

Operational Excellence

Manage store operations efficiently, including scheduling, inventory management, and visual merchandising. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Team Development & Engagement

Develop and implement training programs to enhance team member skills and knowledge. Foster an inclusive work environment that encourages open communication, collaboration, and recognition.

Inventory Management & Control

Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing losses. Implement effective processes for receiving, processing, and stocking merchandise.

Store Maintenance & Safety

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment. Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced retail professional with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • The ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong business acumen, with a focus on sales growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Experience with inventory management, visual merchandising, and store operations.
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  • A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
