**Global Analyzer Systems** is the premier emissions monitoring service provider in Western Canada. We build, install and maintain Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS), with a full range of regulatory consulting services to help manage and ensure compliance for facilities in a variety of industries. We are a leader in the air monitoring industry through innovation and world-class service, aiming to improve emissions measurement technology here in Canada and across the globe.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- **Strategic Procurement Planning**:_
- Develop and execute mid to long-term procurement strategies that align with company goals for innovation and service excellence in emissions monitoring.
- Focus on sourcing innovation, cost-saving strategies, and sustainability initiatives to support the company's leadership in the air monitoring industry.
- **Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)**:_
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, including performance management, strategic partnerships, and continuous improvement programs.
- Enhance value and ensure the quality and reliability of goods and services supplied to the company.
- **Category Management Implementation**:_
- Organize procurement resources by specific areas of spend to optimize value and efficiency through strategic sourcing.
- Develop tailored strategies for distinct categories of goods or services, focusing on cost, quality, and supply chain resilience.
- **Contract Management**:_
- Implement and oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts, from initiation, through to awarding, ensuring compliance, and managing renewals or terminations.
- Systematically and efficiently manage contract execution and analysis to maximize performance and reduce risks.
- **Cross-Functional Team Leadership**:_
- Lead or participate in cross-functional teams, including operations, Quality Management and Health & Safety programs, service departments, and R&D, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business needs.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication among departments to support efficient and effective procurement processes.
- **Technology Utilization**:_
- Implement and utilize procurement and supply chain technologies for process improvement.
- Leverage e-procurement tools, supplier portals, and inventory management systems to increase efficiency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making.
- **Procurement**:_
- Procurement of materials and parts for emissions monitoring systems and instrumentation.
- Bill of Material Management for CEMS Projects, Part creation, cost and lead time tracking.
- Sourcing and filing of Vendor Certificates and Approvals (CSA, cULus, CRN’s and MTR’s etc.).
- Work with Project Manager(s) to maintain and store files specific to each Clients CEMS build.
- Retain Vendor Quotations, Order Acknowledgements and copies of Purchase Orders in Client File folders.
- Fill out Procurement Traceability files related to major projects and update throughout the build.
- Create and provide client Spare Parts Lists at the end of each CEMS Project and procure parts to fulfill client purchase orders.
- Assist the Sales Team in conjunction with the systems department when bidding on major projects such as CEMS builds, DAS and other related projects.
- Maintaining minimum inventory stock levels in support of the Service department and client spare parts orders.
- Procurement of Gas Cylinders for the CEMS Apps and Service Department.
- Procurement of materials and parts for the R&D Department and special projects.
- Frequent check ins with Vendors for lead time updates on critical components.
- Writing and submitting SOPs and Forms for approval when applicable.
- Filling out NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) for both internal and external complaints and assisting with investigations and resolutions.
- Conduct inventory tracking and management as required; manage stock transfers and inventory transactions, completing orders where required.
- **Logistics**:_
- Coordinate the efficient delivery of client orders, including systems, shelters and parts orders.
- Scheduling of Trucks and Cranes when applicable.
- Work with the Accounting team when client spare part orders ship for timely invoicing.
- Receiving incoming orders and complete part inspections to check for product certifications such as CSA and cULus, accuracy and functionality.
- Labelling incoming parts orders and putting stock away into the inventory area.
- Coordinate logistics in the collection of orders from suppliers or provision of order to clients, including preparing or receiving shipping rate quotes.
- Domestic and International shipping with a wide variety of carriers such as Fedex, UPS, Purolator, Rosenau, Manitoulin and others.
- Provide the Sales team with freight quotes when applicable.
- Preparation of production orders, including parts kit assembly and labelling.
