House of Cool is the leading studio in animation for Pre‐Production throughout the world. Together with our clients, the House of Cool team has worked to design stories and craft some of the worlds coolest Animated Series and Feature Films such as: Spies in Disguise (Disney/Fox) and Maya and the Three (Netflix). House of Cool has also worked on Next Gen (Netflix), Ferdinand (Fox), The Book of Life (Fox), Rio 1 & 2 (Fox) and many more productions

About the Line Producer
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Support client/partner/studio's creative vision by managing show budget and resources
- Responsible for the day-to-day client relationship
- Be the face of the production, representing House of Cool by maintaining a level of creative coolness and professionalism - actively looking for creative solutions to both story and production issues
- Action on the feature pre-production plan - including schedules, budgets and all deliverables
- In collaboration with the VP of Production, continually assess and adjust production plan to facilitate delivery on the creative vision of the series
- Manages cost reports, running costs scenarios as needed and flagging material variances to Directors of Production
- Identify and implement the production resources necessary to support the project
- Conduct meetings with team leads to assess day to day project requirements and ensure continued progress
- Flag potential problems and proactively design and seek solutions to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met
- Actively participate in project recruitment, staffing and assessment of artists performance throughout production
- Inspire and maximize communication amongst the creative team
- Prioritization and escalation of technical support issues
- Support in studio endeavours including training and mentorship
- Contribute to studio culture by participating and supporting studio events
- Work on additional duties as requested
**Qualifications**:
- 5+ years of experience in Production Management for animated productions
- Experience in a feature film environment and how the needs differ from series
- Experience managing production budgets over $2M+
- Experience leading projects with crew sizes up to 30+ people
- You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the diplomacy to balance the creative expectations with the financial resources available
- You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- You are driven, innovative, strategic and solution focused
- Ability to problem solve creatively, quickly and practically
The position starts in December 2024 on a 1-year contract with the potential for extension.
The role offers a competitive salary with comprehensive benefits, GRRSP, vacation and flex days.
It is a hybrid position with a requirement of at least two days in our Toronto office.
