**Title**: Nursing Professional Practice Officer (**Internal Only**)
**Salary**: $71,162 - $82,181 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: 37.5 Hours, Monday - Friday (core hours 9am - 3pm)
**Location**: Sinclair, Downtown, Vancouver - Hybrid, (50% in office). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, after Oct 2024

**About the role**
As the Nursing Professional Practice officer, you will be a key member of the Nursing Professional Practice portfolio. Reporting to the Manager of Nursing Professional Practice, you will provide program advisory services and assistance to the R Manager, senior Rural & Remote Practice Team (RRPT) leads, and First Nations communities. You will support the Professional Practice programing for the RRPT and Chronic Conditions & Serious Illness (CCSI) portfolios on behalf of the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA). You will provide advice, support and assistance with program delivery guidelines, financial tracking, and resources for core teams reporting to Nursing Professional Practice. The Nursing Professional Practice Officer will be responsible for managing various coordinator tasks related to nursing education, training, and clinical support programs within the organization.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have/be
- BA degree in business administration, health sciences or health administration, or a related field plus one (1) year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education training and experience and a minimum of 3 years professional experience in managing projects and team.
**Occupational Certification**
- Valid driver’s license or personal mobility to the degree normally associated with possession of a valid driver’s license.

You may have experience in;
- Experience in establishing and sustaining effective working relationships, including conflict resolution
- Experience working with software programs
- Experience in providing effective strategic advice and recommendations, including writing of funding proposals for health service programs

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours.
As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
