**ABOUT US**

Our staff are dedicated to serving Ontarians through active management of Crown lands, aggregate resources, water resources, fish and wildlife, land use planning, and forestry.

**What can I expect to do in this role?**: As District Manager, you will:

- Lead and engage a diverse team of high performers, while fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, accessibility and excellence.
- Implement and promote transformational change initiatives ministry and regional programs and policies.
- Set district priorities and meet divisional objectives by planning, budgeting, allocating and managing human and fiscal resources.
- Provide input into and implement policy and program direction related to Crown land, forestry, fish, wildlife and water resource management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and public service excellence through the implementation of government priorities Crown Forest Sustainability Act, Lakes and Rivers Improvement Act, Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, and the Public Lands Act at the local level.
- Lead and oversee stakeholder and Indigenous community relations and consultations while supporting responsive resource stewardship and management decisions.
