**Job Description**:
**WHAT'S THE JOB?**

As District Manager you will report to the Regional Operations Director. You will be responsible for managing $10 million of revenue across the province of Ontario in various sized remote camps ranging from 25 - 500 people.

District Managers are highly valued, primary representatives of Horizon North and Dexterra Group. The incumbent will work with field level management to deliver consistent services across multiple account operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead every aspect of service and operations by providing direction to field level management.
- Understand contractual terms and conditions, scope, deliverables and external and internal KPI’s.
- Working with Director of Operations or Operational Accountant, responsible for preparation of annual operating budgets and regular review of P&L statements to meet project, division, and company objectives.
- Establish and maintain professional, trusting, and positive working relationships with clients, suppliers, partners, co-workers and site teams.
- Ability to communicate performance expectations, monitor, and reward performance to ensure plans, goals, and budgets are met.
- Promotes and develops a positive health and safety culture through visible health, safety, and environmental leadership.
- Financial management responsibilities include use of standards, variance analysis with key consideration for margins, productivity, capital, and accounts receivable.

**Qualifications**:
**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- A university or college degree in Hospitality or Business Management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing multi-level accounts more than $5 million in revenue.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Operations Management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
- Ability to lead other by demonstrating empathy, open-mindedness, and respect.
- Ability to maintain excellent relationships with People - employees, clients, and customers.
- Ability to travel between sites on demand, travel is required approximately 50% of the time (110 days per year).
