Founded in 2016 in Vancouver, Canada, FORM is the sports technology company behind the FORM Smart Swim Goggles, a pair of premium swim goggles with a see-through, augmented-reality display that delivers performance metrics in real time. For the first time, swimmers and triathletes using our goggles can see real-time visual feedback, with metrics like split times, distance, stroke rate, pace per 100, and calories displayed directly in the swimmer’s line of sight - in pools, open water, and swim spas.

Since launch in 2019, our goggles have won many awards, including RedDot, iF Design Award, Global Triathlon Award, and many more. Pro-athletes, age group triathletes, and any swimmer looking to improve love what we're doing and are proud to use our goggles. We have an amazing team of people who are fun to work with and serious about what they do, leveraging decades of combined expertise in consumer products, ranging from sports eyewear design to interface design to activity tracking algorithms.

**Position Overview**

The Hardware Product Manager will take the lead in driving the vision, development, and execution of next-generation smart goggles and other smart eyewear products targeting endurance athletes. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, they will identify market opportunities, define product vision and requirements, and execute on a roadmap to bring world-class smart eyewear to our customers.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Define the hardware product strategy and roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, and technological advancements.
- Coordinate with the product, engineering, design, manufacturing, and sales & marketing teams to ensure successful product development and launches.
- Advocate for the user and their needs, collaborating with design and user research teams to create intuitive, user-friendly, and innovative products.
- Identify emerging trends and gaps in the endurance sports market and pivot product strategy accordingly.
- Develop and maintain Product Requirements Documents (PRD) for each product.
- Regularly present product updates, roadmaps, and post-launch feedback to executive teams and other stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks related to product development and go-to-market strategies.
- Take full ownership of the Program Management for new hardware development, including setting timelines, coordinating resources, ensuring milestones are met on time, and liaising between different departments to ensure seamless execution.
- Lead the industrial design process by identifying, contracting, and overseeing external design contractors.
- Coordinate the concept and direction for product packaging, ensuring it aligns with brand standards and enhances the overall customer experience.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in hardware product management, preferably in consumer electronics or wearables.
- Lead product manager for the release for 2+ successful hardware consumer products.
- Strong understanding of the endurance athlete market and user needs.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional program management and organizational skills.
- Solid technical understanding of hardware development processes.
- Self-starter and proactive.

- Experience in wearables and fitness technology.
- Experience in a fast-paced, energetic startup environment.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
