You’ll be a role model and help students to broaden their knowledge of Canada, while developing a passion for language learning; all while having fun
**About our opportunity**
In this position you will support and motivate students in the elementary, intermediate or high school level as they learn English. Another one of your tasks will be to organize cultural activities designed to help students discover the English language and encourage them to continue learning and improving, emphasizing fluency in speech. You’ll also support teachers by organizing activities such as improvisation, quizzes, plays, and debates to help students discover and appreciate English language and Anglophone culture.
**About you**
- You must be proficient in both oral and written English.
- You must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident. Those studying in Canada on student visas are not eligible.
- You must have completed (within the last 10 years) at least one year of postsecondary studies.
- Experience working with youth is an asset (e.g., extracurricular, school or camp setting).
- Travel experience is an asset.
