**Primary Duties**:
Under the supervision of the Curator of Visitor Experience, the French Language Heritage Programming Assistant will assist Museum staff by taking an active role in frontline interpretation during the fast-paced summer season. They will be called upon to lead interpretive programs & guided tours, answer questions regarding the museum galleries & resident ship CSS Acadia, demonstrate excellence in visitor service, and assist with special events, offering services in both French and English as needed. They will also review existing programs to identify areas for improvement that will increase levels of understanding, interaction, and accessibility for visitors.
