Liquor Store Supervisor Temporary

Reporting to the Liquor Manager, the Liquor Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation of the Liquor store including sales, delivering world-class customer service, receiving merchandise, stocking products, cleaning shelves, helping customers, merchandising and displaying products, making end caps displays, maintaining department cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
- Two or more years of previous liquor retail experience
- Complete understanding of Alberta Liquor Regulations and Legislations
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, craft beer, and other Alcohol products
- Computer skills and office administration experience; including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Experience with deposits, till counting, daily paperwork, scheduling, etc.
- Familiar with ordering receiving, inventory management
- Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on employee engagement
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills
- Experience motivating & coaching employees; able to identify measures of performance and actions needed to improve or correct performance
- Demonstrated time management, planning, and organizational skills
- Cash handling skills/experience; understanding of basic mathematic principles
- Able to operate POS system; understand credit and debit procedures
- Physically able to lift to 50 lbs. repeatedly
- High level of integrity and work ethic
