Red Spade Ent. Ltd. is a growing courier and transportation company based in Prince George. We are currently looking for a self-motivated, customer focused individual with a minimum 3 years of previous related experience to join our team. We have an immediate opening for an Office Manager.
Duties include:
Supporting a small group of employees
Receiving and reconciling waybills and customer orders
Quoting pricing to customers
Reviewing incoming invoices for accuracy
Accounts receivable and Accounts payable
Going to our post office box and submitting our bank deposit daily
Reconciling payments
Audit driver's daily logbooks and enforce compliance according to the National Safety Code of Canada
Administer COR and ISN Networld
General duties:
Answering phones and dispatching to drivers (Provide evening and weekend phone coverage for the occasional call)
Sometimes receiving and sorting freight
Sometimes working outside of the office/warehouse
A successful applicant should:
Have minimum 3 year experience in a similar position
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be able to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment
Be well organized
Not be afraid to get their hands dirty
Be very good with communicating
Be willing and able to learn new job functions as this position is ever-changing
Be able to communicate via smart phone with employees
All of our trucks utilize two-way dash cameras and GPS tracking. We also use electronic logbook devices (ELD’s). We are a fully compliant company.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
**Salary**: $50,000.00 per year
