The responsibilities of the Program Coordinator include some work outside of typical office hours, and flexibility in your personal schedule is necessary.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Planning, implementing and evaluating programs and events of the organization.
- Assisting in the development of new initiatives and strategies to increase the awareness and fund development of the organization.
- Volunteer recruitment, maintenance and supervision.
- Maintaining the membership database
- Regularly update the website and social media pages/platforms
- Representing PSA on various committees and working groups
- Assisting in day to day office operations
- Reporting

**Education**

The Program Coordinator will have a background working with people of various abilities in a sport and recreation environment. Experience and knowledge in program and event planning/development is required. A degree in any of the following areas of study will be considered an asset:

- Disability Studies, Physical Education, Kinesiology, Recreation Studies.

**Other qualifications include**:

- Must have regular and consistent access to a vehicle
- First aid and CPR an asset
- Schedule flexibility
- Well organized
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with mínimal supervision
- Be a self-starter and problem solver
- Ability to multitask
- A willingness to learn
- Ability to prioritize
- Understanding of barriers for those with disability
- Compassion and patience
- Background and passion for a variety of sports
- Must have a professional attitude, demeanor and dress

PSA is currently working from home, however, in your role you will be expected to attend various in person.

Pay: $38,480.00 per year
