Assistant to Operations Manager

As an Assistant to Operations Manager at CARGO CABBIE, you will work closely with the CEO and Operations Manager to assist with day-to-day moving and storage activities to achieve established operating goals, sales, and profits. You will be autonomous in making daily operational decisions and should have a strong knowledge of functional support areas such as transportation, logistics, training for new employees, customer service execution, supervising teams, and fleet management. Please note this position requires being hands-on in the workforce, and physical labour/moving is involved.

Responsibilities for the position include:

- Collaborating with the CEO to set and implement short and long-term company goals.
- Maintaining responsibility for the overall operations of the company and ensuring that all departments are operating efficiently.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient operations.
- Ensuring compliance with CARGO CABBIE Inc. standards and reflecting the values of the brand.
- Managing all aspects of transportation and logistics to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products and services.
- Providing labour support on packs and moves as required
- Supervising administrative management and ensuring that inventory, supplies, and equipment are properly stocked and maintained.
- Providing training and support for new employees.
- Maintaining a positive and productive work culture.
- Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders such as customers, vendors, and suppliers.

Qualifications:

- Three or more years of proven experience in a leadership role in operations management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics.
- Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Ability to manage financial activities and maintain profitability.
- Proven experience in administrative management.
- Leadership and supervisory capabilities.
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- G License with a clean drivers abstract

**Additional Information**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
