**Job Description**:
As a proposal writer you will be responsible for
- Developing and preparing proposals that address and respond to the current requests of the organization.
- Develop presentations for employers and field; respond to any requests for information.
- Responsible for tracking proposals, writing proposals and other documentation, updating existing proposal databases and ensuring proposals are in compliance with instructions.
- Work closely with Executive Director
- Create cover letters and editing proposal and documents
- To ensure confidentiality for S.W.I.M and its associates.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in English, Business Communications, Journalism or Marketing
- Posses strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain working files and document revisions
- Must be able to translate complicated ideas into effective and clear language and be able to handle and use constructive feedback in order to make needed changes to documents and proposals
- Preferably two or more years writing and editing experience
- Excellent organizational and commitment skills.
- Must be able to virtually attend bi-weekly meetings on Mondays and Thursdays 3pm - 5pm

Meeting Format: Bi-weekly virtual staff meetings and volunteers to come into our London office once to twice a week.

COVID-19 considerations:
Some volunteer work will be done virtually. Team Meetings will be held via Google Meet on a bi-weekly basis and are mandatory for all volunteers to attend.
