**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Typhon Concrete cutting is looking for a January start for an office assistant to join our team and support with our continued growth and expanding team. Based out of Coquitlam this role is hybrid and would suit someone looking to work part time during the day.

- Enjoys working digitally and leverages excel or smartsheet as a tool to support operationational excellence.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication and diplomacy skills.
- Acts independently with a high level of judgment, discretion, initiative and business acumen.
- Wil be a consistent team player, with strong organization skills and excellent time management as evidenced by the proven ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Is comfortable working in a work environment with tight and often unpredictable and/or conflicting deadlines while maintaining an efficient and positive attitude.

**A day in the life of looks like**:

- A 930am start giving you time to balance life before work
- A hybrid working arrangement with autonomy to manage your own schedule once trained and comfortable with role responsibilities.
- Managing general office administrative responsibilities.
- Set up all new employees with appropriate training and ensure digital copies of all documentation.
- Manage our equipment and automotive maintenance and inventory program.
- Ensure our safety board, documentation and training is kept upto date.
- Support the accounts department with the processing of team expenses.
- Work with vendors to ensure equipment is serviced, new parts are ordered and orders are linked to work orders.
- Manage client communication trackers and team updates.
- Leverage computer systems to manage, track and organize business information.

**Qualifications**:

- Required 1-2 years of office experience working in an administrative environment.
- Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Current courses or training in office, competent in computer business software, proficient in Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills.
