**Position Purpose**:
**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities**
- Support daily operation of mission critical systems e.g. OMS in a 7/24 operation
- Support Control Room daily system operation and troubleshoot system issues, process issues, data issues, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement interfaces, data exchange mechanisms, and integration workflows.
- Provide training to end-users, system operators, and technicians to ensure effective utilization of all supported systems.
- Develop user guides, training materials, and documentation to facilitate system understanding and adoption.
- Proactively identify potential issues within a system, data model or process and notify business stakeholders.
- Defines business requirements and/or refines complex business processes using the OMS/OT systems in consultation with end-users, clients or senior management.
- Assist with the development of new geospatial tools in platforms.
- Research, inventory, analyze and integrate GIS data.
- Undertake multi-criteria spatial analysis.
- Designs and implements redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving to protect integrity of data assets.
- Ensures compliance to legislative, regulatory and Health & Safety policies, procedures and standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Education & Specialized Knowledge**
- College diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business administration
- Strong OMS education or equivalent experience
- Must hold and maintain a valid class “G” driver’s license.
- Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
- Advanced knowledge of data exchange import\export models and processes
- Strong knowledge of Technical Analysis lifecycle process

**Experience**
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Technical Analysis solution architect or similar role in Operational Technology field
- Strong understanding of Control Room business processes, procedures, regulations, and daily operation.
- Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience developing and implementing business processes.
- Working technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring, and supporting database servers.

- Strong understanding of the utility business operation, business requirements and regulations.
- Strong project management skills, understanding of project management methodologies and software development cycle.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills, with focus on attention to detail
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision to get the job done.

- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to provide practical and/or innovative solutions to complex technical issues.

- Ability to plan, prioritize and execute multiple projects and initiatives within established timelines.
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Energetic and enthusiastic team player committed to the overall success of Operational Technology and Alectra.
- Work with department team and\or larger project teams to fulfill project deliverables within expected timelines.
- Ability to summarize issues and concerns at a high level.
- Maintain positive outlooks to keep others engaged in projects and department goals.
- Work with and engage with vendors and consultants to assist in meeting Alectra’s needs.
