**Job Description: Quality Assurance Technician**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Inspection and Testing:_
- Program and operate our Zeiss CMM providing feedback to the manufacturing team and creating inspection reports for our clients.
- Inspect machined parts and assemblies to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards, using hand tools and other inspection equipment.
- Conduct first article inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections.
- Quality Control:_
- Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
- Identify and document any non-conformances, and work with the production team to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting:_
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality reports.
- Prepare and present quality reports and documentation to management and clients.
- Assist in maintaining and updating quality assurance documentation and records.
- Continuous Improvement:_
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance and metrology.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience:_
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a precision machining environment.
- Proven experience with CMM operation and programming.
**Skills**:
- Strong understanding of precision machining processes and tolerances.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
**Education**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in quality assurance or metrology is a plus.

Pay: $25.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 42 per week
