Chimney Technician

Top Hat Home Comfort Services, Ottawa’s largest home service company has an opening for a training position to be a Lead chimney technician to perform chimney cleanings and inspections.

Training and certification will be provided,

**Job Description**:
As a chimney technician for Top Hat’s chimney department you will be primarily responsible for professionally cleaning and inspecting fireplaces, woodstoves and chimneys in homes throughout the Ottawa valley.

Represent Top Hat in a professional, courteous and friendly manner on each and every cleaning.

Adhere to all safety rules and procedures.

Perform other duties as required.

**Required Skills**:
Must have at least a Class G Driver’s License.

Must have current Working at Heights Training

Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position.

Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.

Must have a customer satisfaction drive.

Maintain company vehicle and work attire to a clean and safe standard.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: $21.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 57 per week
