We are currently looking for individuals to fulfill a position of QA tester with one of our government clients

**Location**: Hybrid

**Duration**: 12 months to start with 1 extension

**Client**: Ministry of Government and Consumer Services

**Description**
- Compare **performance characteristics of multiple systems** or system configurations (software, hardware, network)
- Find the source of performance problems
- **Provide system tuning guidance**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with the client app teams to gather technical requirements for Application Load tests
- execute virtual user load tests in clients' selected environments
- provide detailed test results reports
- provide technical right-sizing and tuning recommendations to the clients
- evaluate against pre-defined business performance criteria
- troubleshoot performance problems and compare various system configurations.
- Knowledge and experience sharing with the in-house testing team

**Question #1 - 20%**
- Using examples, describe your experience in designing, implementing and reporting
- Performance Testing processes in an Enterprise Data Centre.

**Parameters**:Designing, implementing and reporting of_**performance testing results**_ for _**5-9 years in large and complex organizations**_._

- Experience in gathering functional and non-functional test requirements.
- Working as a _**performance test liaison**_between the client and the performance testing team.

**Question #4 - 15%**

**Parameters**:Demonstrated experience and contribution in a _**load test exercise,**_ knowledge of the types of activities needed, including peer reviewing test scripts created by others, during test developments and executions.

**Question #5 - 15%**
- Scripting skills

**Parameters**:Demonstrated experience and understanding of scripting languages and skills, correlation, parameters, data extractions from transactions, focused on **VuGen** (**key tool in LoadRunner**) Scripting skills in large and complex organizations

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: $55.00-$65.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- 5-9 yrs of performance testing related: 5 years (required)
- Cloud or n-Teir (Web/App/DB): 5 years (required)
- 5-9 yrs of load testing related: 5 years (required)
- Scripting (Load runner, VuGen): 5 years (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON
