**Working Arrangement**

As a senior member of the North American Retail Investments marketing team, the Marketing Manager leads and supports pivotal initiatives related to brand and marketing strategy, marketing operational efficiency, thought leadership, digital strategy and governance, content management, campaigns and marketing-related event activity.

Reporting to the Director of Brand, this role is integral to the ongoing development and management of marketing initiatives to support the Retail Investments business in Canada.

The Marketing Manager’s directive is to:

- Drive operational efficiency for the Wealth and Asset Management (WAM) Canada retail marketing team
- Lead high profile initiatives with strong project management field and marketing competence
- Demonstrate marketing value and effectiveness through focused measurement and analysis of all marketing programs

**Marketing Strategy**
- Lead always-on, B2B marketing initiatives that help to increase brand awareness and elevate thought leadership experts and their content
- Support the content marketing calendar and corresponding amplification through relevant channels
- Complete marketing campaigns and initiatives by leading cross-functional teams including creative, compliance, editorial, digital marketing, translation, product and both external and internal communications.

**Operational Efficiency**
- Support and readily adapt to marketing modernization and transformation efforts by implementing processes that unlock efficiencies across the entire marketing organization with a digital-first mentality
- Seek and implement innovative and automated processes to enable marketing to focus on high value functions while identifying and showcasing automation savings to the organization
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop sales enablement process, tools, and collateral.

**Project and Event Management**
- Coordinate with cross field functional team members to ensure all parties are aligned to project requirements, deadlines and schedules
- Build strong connections/relationships with key collaborator to identify and resolve issues
- Be responsible for the production, distribution and optimization of event-related content - including creative deliverables, digital invitations, presentation decks and event follow-up messaging.
- Evaluate event performance, post-event return on investment & analytics tracking

**Digital Strategy and governance**
- Maintain marketing collateral and related digital information on retail websites, social media, and internal and external collaborative platforms (i.e.. SharePoint, Seismic, JIRA)
- Contribute to the formulation of timely reports with relevant analysis based on data from various sources, including digital marketing campaigns

- Strong project management skills with the ability to pull content from multiple sources and keep on top of ever-changing deliverables within required timelines
- Ability to respond to multiple demands and prioritize work activities within required deadlines for time sensitive projects while adhering to records management processes and governance
- Ability to blend confidence with tact, liaising directly with colleagues throughout the organization to get what’s needed to get the job done
- Adaptive to change, both on a micro scale in terms of conflicting project requests and priorities as well as larger scale changes in an ever-shifting industry landscape
- Interest in wealth management products, such as mutual funds, segregated funds and ETFs
- Experience in templating, scaling and building repeatable processes

**Qualifications**
- 7-10+ years in the investment management industry
- Solid project management background with validated ability to deliver with accuracy and timeliness
- Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills that model corporate core values
- Sound business insight, judgment and decision-making
- Comfortable in both challenging technical and interpersonal environments
- Strong negotiating skills & self-motivated/ambitious
- Knowledge of Seismic, DOMO Analytics, and MS Project is an asset

The annual base salary for this role in the primary location of Toronto, Ontario is expected to be between $82,500.00 CAD - $148,500.00 CAD.
