Research Assistant, Faculty of Science

**Position Overview**
Reporting to the Principal Investigator of an external research contract/grant. The Research Assistant will assist in the development of specialized computer simulation codes and preparation of technical and scientific publications. The incumbent will also participate and assist in the conduct of theoretical quantum information science research.
**Position Description**
**Summary of Key Responsibilities** (job functions include but are not limited to):
- Collaborate with postdocs and graduate students
- Accountable for the scientific accuracy and quality of the research work
**Qualifications / Requirements**:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in physics or computer science
- Prior research experience in quantum reservoir computing is a major asset
- Highly innovative
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
