**PROFILE**

We are looking for an Applications Trainer to join our Firm in our Toronto office.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work with colleagues in Human Resources and Legal Talent to schedule and co-ordinate, technology training for new firm member onboarding
- Organize various training opportunities outside the core programs to ensure users are kept abreast of changing technologies, including the design and ongoing development of course materials and the maintenance of all training manuals and resources for self-directed learning.
- Monitor training requirements based on feedback from users and help desk tickets.
- Provide end-user support along with other members of the IT Department through the completion of calls assigned by the Service Desk.
- Assist the IT Department with technical workstation support and systems implementations and rollouts.
- Prepare written evaluations on tested software.
- Any other duties as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Training, together with 5+years’ experience in a similar role, delivering technology-focused training in a corporate or professional services setting.
- Experience in software evaluation, needs analysis, software configuration and support.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other Firm members, with the aptitude to take care of clients’ needs in a professional and courteous manner.
- Capacity to work independently, as well as in a team environment, including in virtual and hybrid environments
- Produce a high quality and quantity of work product, occasionally under tight timelines.
- Excellent organization and time management skills, with ability to prioritize and to redefine priorities when necessary.
- Handle stress in a business-like manner.
- Familiarity with various instructional and adult learning methodologies and approaches.
- Proficient presentation skills with the ability to adapt content to different skill levels and audiences.
- Experience with learning management systems, and virtual classroom/webinar platforms considered an asset.
