**What you’ll do**:

- Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences
- Provide leadership and direction to the Deli team in order to ensure a highly productive atmosphere exists
- Assist Deli Manager in directing and overseeing the Deli team in housekeeping, food preparation, inventory management, and stocking shelves
- Assist Deli Manager with performance management for the Deli department
- Assist Deli Manager with sales and margin targets
- Actively out on the sales floor working one-on-one with team members and leading by example
- Assist with administrative tasks for the Deli department
- Follow proper safety and food safe practices and regulations
- Ordering, receiving, warehousing and stocking of product daily
- Assist with filling out temperature logs as required
- Inspire a committed, shared vision of respectful teamwork
- Able to work a variety of shifts - including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis
- Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Who you are**:

- You have a grade 12 or combination of relevant experience; previous Deli and supervisory experience would be an asset
- You’re action oriented, customer focused and work well with other Team Members

- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
