Deli Supervisor

Job Summary:
Duties include but not limited to:
- Prepare and serve deli items such as chicken, salads, and hot foods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
- Assist customers with product selection and provide excellent customer service
- Operate deli equipment including slicers and ovens
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper storage and sanitization
- Monitor inventory levels of deli items/supplies - Order stock from various suppliers each week - Put away orders and report any shortages or short dated items that were received - Oversee deli staff to promote productivity and professionalism - Train new deli employees - Complete weekly schedules for the deli department
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in food service. Deli experience is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Food Safety Certificate is seen as a plus
