Lightspeed is looking for a **Marketing Project Manager** to support key marketing initiatives and creative projects. If you are a seasoned project manager with experience working with multidisciplinary teams in marketing or a related field, we want to hear from you.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director for Marketing Operations, you will be responsible for bringing briefs to life, supporting various marketing stakeholders, and contributing to continuous improvement in project delivery. You will have a strong understanding of the creative process from brief through to production and to ensure projects are executed on time and meet quality standards. Working closely with marketing specialists, the Marketing Project Manager will help lead integrated schedules, workflows, and manage resource capacity on a variety of projects.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Project Management_
- Manage marketing initiatives that support Lightspeed's key product lines (retail, hospitality, golf).
- Manage multiple marketing projects while collaborating with several cross-functional work streams toward delivery.
- Turn briefs into actionable project plans that include project requirements, work breakdown structure, stakeholder and resource management plans, production timelines, risk mitigation plans.
- Maintain rigorous communication & monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.
- Keep teams organized and lead key meetings with stakeholders and project teams.
- Maintain project prioritization by collaborating with marketing leaders, internal project owners, the project team, and key stakeholders.
- Liaise closely with the content creation, design, and marketing teams to ensure marketing objectives, messaging and visuals are aligned.
- Track progress, develop status reports, lead project retrospectives.
- Marketing Operations Optimization_
- Continuously refine data collection, analysis, and reporting processes for project results/initiatives, to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Streamline and standardize marketing processes and operations, and incorporate best practices across work streams to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve productivity within the project management framework.
- Train marketing teams in new project management concepts, processes or technology that enhance automation and more efficient operations.

**What you need to bring**:

- 2-4+ years experience in Project Management in Marketing or other creative fields.
- Knowledge of Project Management principles, methods, and techniques.
- Experience managing teams and conversations with internal clients around scope, schedule, and budget as well as roadmaps, objectives, and strategies.
- Ability to work with teams across multiple departments and around the globe.
- Proven experience using an integrated approach to project planning and management.
- Thorough understanding of creative processes & production of marketing assets.
- Proactive approach in your work: you take initiative, can prioritize tasks, proactively flag issues, and collaborate to find solutions.
- Flexible in responding to changes in business priorities; proven ability to work effectively under multiple, competing deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills in English. French is an asset.
- Proven ability to interface with all levels of management with confidence.
- Proven ability to meet project deadlines.
- Thrive working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferable.
