The Position

Key Responsibilities
- **Leadership and Management**: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Professional Services team across North America. Responsibility for management of personnel including but not limited to targets, target control, team utilization, performance management, growth and development, employee relations, recruitment, and administration. Ensure efficient capacity management (planning and control of resources) while achieving the margin and revenue targets for the Professional Services team.
- **Client Engagement**: Oversee the delivery of professional services to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project outcomes. Act as the senior point of contact for key clients and stakeholders.
- **Service Delivery**: Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services, including implementation, consulting, and support. Develop and maintain high standards of service quality.
- **Business Development**: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for growth and expansion of professional services. Support sales efforts with expertise and resources as needed.
- **Financial Management**: Manage the financial performance of the Professional Services division, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Drive profitability and cost management initiatives.
- **Process Improvement**: Continuously evaluate and improve service delivery processes, methodologies, and tools. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other departments, such as Product Management, R&D, and Customer Support, to ensure alignment and collaboration across the organization.
- **Service Provides**: Select, Control, and Support service providers as needed.
- Any other duties as may be assigned to you from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- At least 10+ years' experience in professional services, consulting, or a related field.
- At least 5+ years' leadership experience; preferably as a senior leader.
- Proven track record of managing large teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among clients, executives, key stakeholders, and others.
- Ability to inspire confidence and create trust.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Precise attention to detail.
- Knowledge of GIS and the Esri ecosystem would be an asset.
