Administrative Assistant / Receptionist
Seasonal Part Time Position beginning May 2023
(average 25 per week)
Key Responsibilities:
Reception, Switchboard and Administration
- Respond to general and walk in inquiries
- Receive, direct and relay telephone calls and messages
- Manage the incoming and outgoing mail and faxes
- Maintain and organize the common work areas - lobby, meeting rooms, lunchroom, etc.
- Order office supplies
Accounting
- Prepare customer invoices and statements for distribution
- Scanning/filing accounts payable and accounts receivable documents
- Process customer payments
- Maintain customer database information
- Update vehicle maintenance logs
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma, post-secondary accounting
- Knowledgeable about working in an office environment
- Experience in customer service
Key Competencies:
- Works efficiently and willing to be flexible when needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well organized and able to manage time effectively
**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
**Experience**:
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
