Temporary Full-time 30 hours per week (21 month contract) - Cayuga, ON

The Supports & Services Clerk (Accounting Clerk) provides administrative support with a strong emphasis on reconciliation and quality control of the Passport and Expand Your Horizons programs. This role also includes working with finance to prepare and post journal entries in addition to researching recreational activities for Passport recipients to purchase.

You will be part of supporting individuals to participate in activities of their choice through their purchased services contract by maintaining systems that provide accurate information of their funding.

Skills and Qualifications:

- 2 years in accounting or administration, or equivalent.
- Experience working with accounting software, preferably Sage 300.
- Strong excel and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with data bases and Microsoft Office.
- Solid interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to be creative and problem solve independently in challenging situations, as required
- Resourceful and responsive to new ideas, sudden changes in routines or activities
- Reliable and punctual for shifts
- Self-motivated and comfortable multitasking.
- Proven interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- **Required**:_
- **V**alid Ontario Driver’s License - G or G2
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening

As a Not-for-profit organization Community Living Haldimand has been supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1958. We are located in Haldimand County, with sites in Dunnville, Cayuga and Hagersville.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 21 months

**Salary**: $26.53-$27.64 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- IT and data related: 2 years (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
