About Us:
Maple Leaf Ropes is a leading manufacturer and supplier of some of the largest rope and gear brands in North America; we are actively seeking a Logistics Coordinator that can bring the necessary skills and experience to take us to the next level.

Summary:
Core Accountabilities:
Coordinate transportation needs with different departments as required.
Request transportation quotes.
Analyze transportation costs and routes and propose alternative solutions for additional efficiencies and savings.
Track delayed shipments and put measures in place to resolve issues affecting OTD.
Manage all the crucial documents such as bills of lading, pick slips, shipping notices etc.
Record, analyze and follow up on customer complaints.
In collaboration with different functions and departments, improve and maintain customer experience as it relates to order delivery.
Track, analyze and prepare reports on transportation performance and address issues with suppliers and carriers.
May be required to assist with packing and shipping as required.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience in Shipping/Receiving, Logistics, Supply Chain or similar position.
A junior applicant with the right skills will be considered.
College diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
Experience using ERP systems and Office programs, including Excel.
Requirements, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Attention to detail and process orientated, with a drive to succeed.
Must be able to work under tight deadlines and have strong multi-tasking abilities.
Experience completing BOL, proforma, customs documents, and UPS waybills required.
Experience operating counterbalance forklifts & reach trucks is an asset.
Able to perform moderate physical activity requiring handling of objects up to 25kg as well as standing and/or walking for up to 8 hours per shift.

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
