**Job Description**:

You will assist to develop the manufacturing plan to support management objectives on on-time delivery, inventory levels and customer service.
**Principal Responsibilities**:
- You will maintain the materials plan supporting the master production schedule following actual customer demand.
- You will reduce inventory through advanced analytics while maintaining customer service including final and electronic assembly.
- You will contribute to the development of strategic plans within the primary departments. Help implement strategic plans developed for the plants teams.
- You will pursue long-term corrective actions from suppliers who exhibit quality or delivery problems by partnering with Purchasing and Sourcing.
- You will develop targets for all direct reports and provide feedback on progress towards those goals.
- You will be a positive role model by taking proactive role in improving processes through training/teaching/coaching production and inventory control concepts and procedures.
- You will demonstrate systemic thinking and expertise in a dynamic manufacturing landscape.
- You will support risk management that promotes a process improvement philosophy.
- You will have a working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
- You will plan and direct the efforts of assigned staff. Provide necessary training and leadership to develop expertise in inventory management.
- You will communicate feedback of corrective action with other departments to support the plan in that area.
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree
- The ability to work in Canada without sponsorship, we will not sponsor visas for this position now, or in the future.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Minimum 3 year experience within a production/inventory control environment.
- CPIM, CIRM, CPP, APICS certification or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) is essential.
- Demonstrated high proficiency of including working knowledge of Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), and SAP.
