**Who we are?** We are a leader in First Nation Health. Our foundation is Indigenous Health in Indigenous Hands. We provide accessible, quality, culturally safe and holistic health care that supports and enhances the wellness of individuals, families, and communities. We work with our 11 First Nation community partners in provision of primary health care, traditional healing, mental wellness & addictions, home and community support services and health and wellness services.
**The opportunity**: As the new Client Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in the provision of clerical and clinical support for our Primary Care Team within Indigenous Friendship Centre - Sault Ste. Marie.The scope of this service is to work within an interdisciplinary team to coordinate client focused primary care for community members seeking and accessing services.
**What you need to bring with you**:
- Medical Office Administrative Assistant Certification, or equivalent.
- Must possess excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to promote teamwork.
- Must be self-directed, resourceful and possess critical thinking skills.
- Experience in the use of electronic health records is an asset.
- Experience working with our 11 First Nation communities is an asset.
- Must have a valid driver’s licence, safe driving record as demonstrated in a driver’s abstract and access to a reliable vehicle.
