Presentation of roles and responsibilities related to the position

Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, the Assistant Director of FP & A will be responsible for collaborating and coordinating processes related to: financial planning, analysis and disclosure of financial performance information, the annual budget process, and other special projects as required by the Fund and the finance team with close collaboration with several teams of the company.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1) Financial Performance Analysis and Disclosure
- Prepare and manage the production of the management report published on a quarterly basis
- Ensure a rigorous and organized process in the preparation of the quarterly MD&A
- Collaborate with the leasing department and ensure the proper management and visibility of the commercial statistics of the real estate portfolio and the impact of the results at the level of the Fund and the disclosure of financial information (occupancy, renewal, available space, deadlines, etc.)
- Collaborate with the Real Estate Accounting Department to obtain and analyze performance indicators that have an impact on the Fund and to properly communicate the results to the market
- Collaborate with the Corporate Accounting Department to develop analytical tools and improve visibility on corporate expenses and the impact on the Fund's results disclosed to the market
- Close collaboration with the financial reporting team during the quarterly disclosure process (preparation of the quarterly cash flow, assistance as needed with the analyses prepared and included in the financial statements and management's discussion and analysis etc.)
- Close collaboration with the financial reporting team for the preparation of the Fund's other financial reports (Annual Information Form, Circular, Audit Committee & Board of Trustees, etc.);
- Continuous improvement and development of financial reporting automation.

2) Financial models for the management of the Fund
- Management of the Fund's monthly cash flow model and close collaboration with other departments to receive the information needed to produce the model
- Development and management of the fund's corporate/strategic growth model.

3) Strategic Growth Process/Market Analysis
- Assist the finance team with the preparation/coordination of equity raises and other financial instruments (convertible debenture, NCIB program & ATM), including close collaboration with the external audit team
- Remain on the lookout for industry best practices and develop quarterly comparable reviews of other REITs (types of instruments used, information disclosed in their financial reports, growth strategy, analysis of their AFFO, FFO, NOI results, etc.)
- In collaboration with the financial information team, ensure the management and preparation of internal models of building valuations
- Ensure a close follow-up of the models developed by the external analysts that cover BTB and identify assumptions that are erroneous or significantly different from those used by BTB
- Perform analysis and undertake special projects as required by

BTB

4) Budget Process
- Coordinate and manage the annual budget process
- Align all departments well to ensure close collaboration during the budget process
- Analyze the Fund's performance on a quarterly basis, budget variances and the risks and opportunities to be expected

5) Other
- Support the continuous development of tools and models used across

the Fund and other departments (corporate accounting, property management team, and others) to ensure consistency of performance indicators
- Ensure the continuous management of the company's performance indicators (analysis of rental activity, management of building performance, monitoring of capital and rental expenses, corporate expenses, liquidity)
- Prepare various ad hoc reports for the management team and Board members
- Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance or accounting
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the following areas:
audit/valuation/restructuring department, analyst work in a chartered bank in the loan writing departments, analyst capital markets department (experience with real estate client an asset) and financial/FP&A analy
