- This position is directly accountable to and reports to the Academic Chair, Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC), Languages and Strategic Initiatives for the School of Hospitality and Tourism and the School of Human Services and Community Safety.
The main duties include effective and efficient administrative support to the Academic Chair and programs attached to the School of Hospitality and Tourism and the School of Human Services and Community Safety offered in Prince Albert. This includes support to the Academic Chair, Program Development Consultant, Curriculum Support Team, Program Heads, Strategic Initiatives Working Group, faculty and staff for all of the programs located on the Prince Albert campus.
This position plays an important role in facilitating effective communication within the programs and with internal/external clients. The role also provides administrative, committee, project coordination, reporting, advisory and troubleshooting supports, and develops and maintains administrative processes to ensure effective and efficient administrative operation.
With a fast-paced environment, significant workload and tight timelines, this position is responsible for a diverse range of job functions.- QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE**Specific Accountabilities**

**Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)**
- 1. Completion of Grade 12, plus a recognized Certificate in Business/Office
Administration, and/or an equivalent combination of education, training, and
experience.
2. Three (3) years recent/relevant experience.
3. Training and experience at an intermediate level with Microsoft Office Suite.
4. High level of administrative, organizational and time management skills.
5. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and budget preparation,
administration, interpretation and reporting.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Ability to organize and coordinate projects or events and make contingency plans
as needed.
8. Demonstrates the writing ability (i.e. accurate grammar, spelling, sentence
structure) and proofreading/editing skills requisite in a professional business
environment.
9. Strong expertise in taking and transcribing minutes.
