**Description**:
Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for a **Program Leader**. The Program Leader will provide regional leadership of program design for the Brevant Seeds and Crop Protection business segments, including the design, development, approval, communication and consultation with stakeholders through the execution of programs, enabling Corteva's go to market strategy.

**Help us grow what matters Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Manage accruals and financial exposure for programs to distributors, retailers, and farmers per year
- Lead across functions the program design used to enable the sales and marketing mix to meet Corteva's annual financial objectives in Canada
- Full people leadership of 2 direct report positions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, goal setting, coaching, feedback, performance evaluation, pay planning, and career development
- Understand business needs relative to the customer strategy (distributor/retailer/grower) and make recommendations on the design and development of program offers (including the reconciliation process) with marketing and sales personnel
- Provide executive level updates and recommendations to the Commercial Effectiveness and Marketing Directors on balance sheet updates of program exposure compared to planned accruals, with recommendations of when to trigger returns of unused accruals to the business
- Collaborate with the Business Services Leader, Annual Planning team, National Program Manager, Seed and Crop Protection Marketing Leaders, Product Portfolio Managers, and Key Account Managers contributing to an integrated plan regarding grower, retail, and distributor programs
- Consult with marketing on the calculation of Net Unit Price, and plan accruals by brand to cover financial exposure of programs
- Run Program exposure scenario modelling for new programs
- Accountable to consult with Canadian Regional Finance staff (Canadian Finance, Canadian Finance Admin), and North America Financial Controllers to create and lead financial control plans for the Canadian payment processes
- Active member of offer planning teams to receive cross functional input into offer development

Calgary location preferred, but will consider virtual.

**Qualifications**:** What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?**
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or Finance is an asset. Related work experience will be taken into consideration.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and implement change
- Minimum 5 years of related commercial experience in sales, marketing or finance
- Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and prioritize workload and work in a multi-task environment
