We are looking for a Permanent Full-time, Career Development Facilitator based out of our Head Office in Mississauga. This position is hybrid remote.

**Key Job Functions**
- Creates and maintains a positive, safe, professional, and engaging learning environment by using various adult learning techniques.
- Responsible for developing workshop content, including defining learning objectives, creating materials, and designing activities that align with the workshop's goals and target audience.
- Organizing the logístical aspects of the workshop, such as scheduling, equipment setup, and ensuring all necessary resources are available for a smooth workshop experience.
- Engage participants throughout the workshop by encouraging participation, fostering discussions, and creating a supportive learning environment that promotes interaction and collaboration.
- Delivers presentations, leads discussions, and guides participants through the workshop content, ensuring that key concepts are effectively communicated and understood.
- Offer guidance and support to participants, answering questions, addressing concerns, and providing feedback to help individuals navigate the workshop content and activities.
- Responsible for managing the workshop's time effectively, ensuring that all topics are covered within the allocated time frame and optimizing the use of resources to maximize learning outcomes.
- Assess the effectiveness of the session by gathering feedback from participants, evaluating learning outcomes, and identifying areas for improvement in future workshops.
- Travel within the GTA to deliver in-person employment workshops when needed.
- Other duties pertaining to the position, as required.

**Education, Knowledge, and Qualifications**
- University/College diploma in related field.
- Certifications in instructional design, facilitation, or adult learning principles are considered an asset.
- Knowledge of training evaluation methods and the ability to assess the effectiveness and impact of workshops on participants' learning and performance through good judgement and decision-making skills.

**Skills & Abilities**
- Proficiency in graphic design tools and techniques to create visually engaging workshop materials. Experience using Canva is considered an asset.
- Ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative ways to present information visually.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey information and engage participants during the workshop.
- Clear and open communication among team members is crucial for sharing information, setting expectations, and coordinating efforts towards common goals.
- Skill in leading group activities, discussions, and exercises to facilitate learning and interaction.
- Being flexible and able to adapt workshop content and delivery based on participant needs and feedback.
- Ability to organize workshop materials, activities, and information in a structured and coherent manner.
- Proficiency in using technology and digital tools to enhance workshop presentations and interactions.
- Setting specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals that align with the team's objectives and motivate everyone towards success.
- The ability to identify challenges, analyze root causes, and develop innovative solutions to overcome obstacles that may hinder progress towards targets.
- Inspiring, motivating, and guiding team members towards shared goals, providing direction, support, and encouragement to maintain focus and momentum.
- Making well-informed decisions, considering all relevant factors, and evaluating potential risks and benefits to move the team closer to achieving targets.
- Embracing a growth mindset, seeking feedback, learning from mistakes, and continuously seeking ways to improve performance and enhance team effectiveness.
