We are looking for a Permanent Full-time, Career Development Facilitator for our Head Office at Skymark, Mississauga.

**Key Job Functions**
- Coordinates and facilitates workshops.
- Create and maintain a positive, safe, professional, and fun learning environment by using various adult learning techniques.
- Monitors the effectiveness of training programs and offers suggestions for continual improvement to the Learning and Development Team
- Requests for client feedback through surveys and make suggestions to enhance client relations to meet customer satisfaction targets.
- Ensures resource and informational targets are met through workshop attendance, outreach activities, and service coordination.
- Develop and revise workshop content depending on the client’s needs and labor market trends.
- Gather and disseminate employment-related training information to staff and clients.
- Make recommendations for other workshops based on client and community needs.
- Support all programs (YJC, YJCS, Supported Referral, SSM, SAO, TESS) relating to group pre-employment and career development content.
- Keep current with prevailing labor market conditions as well as new developments within local and regional labor markets to support and deliver up-to-date information and resources to all service users.
- Conceptualize training materials based on data and research.
- Support and promote the utilization of online resources such as the VPI Learning Centre, LinkedIn Learning, and SHL Assessments
- Act as backup for the L&D Administrative staff during absences or as required.
- Maintain a database of all training materials.
- Support the achievement of all branch Resource & Information targets pertaining to the number of (Participants) as well as Client Satisfaction (satisfaction surveys received) on a weekly and monthly basis in line with the fiscal target.
- Direct clients to the available resources and provide instructions on how to use them, where applicable.
- Ensure that Smart Simple status records are completed and updated to reflect survey results.
- Conduct training for new and existing staff.
- Liaise with managers to determine training needs and schedule training sessions.
- Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement.
- Travel within the GTA to deliver in-person employment workshops when needed.
- Other duties pertaining to the position, as required.
