Staffing & Time Coordinator

Edmonton, Canada Clayburn Services Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinates and processes field applicants, new hire data, and processes data in HR system
- Coordinates drug screening, background checks and required training for field employees
- Completes I-9 form for all new hires as required
- Collects and processes field hours weekly for payroll
- Assists in identifying payroll errors and processes corrections as needed
- Provides administrative assistance as directed
- Review company files under operations jurisdiction for accuracy and completeness.
- Assists in processing all documents as well as amendments, cancellations, and deletions; maintain corresponding logs.
- Supports the preparation and system input of company contracts.
- May assists in the control of invoicing, contract letters, return confirmations, and memorandums by distributing to appropriate management.
- Make contact to customers regarding payment of invoices, specifically over 90-day accounts.
- Compare details of incoming documents with current records.
- Follow up on confirmation; maintain and organize files.
- Operate standard office equipment.
- Handle incoming calls by referring to appropriate personnel or by direct handling.
- Maintains safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concerns.
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:

- Requires high school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two (2) or more years in an administrative role.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
- The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable workplace accommodation.

The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, respirators, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done.

The Company expects and requires all employees to observe and fulfill all safety responsibilities as outlined in workplace safety training, and actively work toward maintaining a safe workplace. Failure to do so can result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Regular attendance and punctuality are required of all employees.
