What You'll Do:
Responsible for all aspects of product line development (new enhancements, growth, revenue and cost management targets, business policy development, market opportunity assessment, customer requirements, alignment with corporate strategy and corporate capabilities).

Responsible for all aspects of product management for all products within portfolio (revenue, profit margins, customer satisfaction, operational support, policy compliance) and covering all aspects of product, price, promotion and distribution. Manages and leads projects independently which directly impact the product with their specified portfolio. Work is primarily autonomous and requires gaining support and commitment from impacted business units to successfully manage the product portfolio(s).

Major Activities:

- Product Portfolio Development_
- Evaluates opportunities for new services (understanding customer and stakeholder needs, identifying market problems, writing market and business requirements, defining profitability potential, developing/obtaining high level estimates, ensuring infrastructure reuse.
- Completes analysis by acquiring external and internal information from specialists. Gains support and leads opportunity through all approval processes (creates concept templates, business cases, positioning documents, white papers, business assessments and product strategies).
- Develops and assists in gaining support for policy-impacting strategies and initiatives involving government regulatory organizations and other agencies.
- Determines appropriate business models (new pricing models, develops and negotiates service agreements with service providers, develops customer agreements).
- Identifies, evaluates and oversees the implementation of new portfolio products and services.
- Leads and coordinates the development of Concept Templates and Business Cases
- Includes negotiating with and gaining buy-in from internal (e.g. Legal, Finance, Communications) and external groups (e.g. Ministries, professional associations, customer groups).
- Evaluates and assures alignment with corporate goals and objectives, collaborates with internal units to understand impacts (e.g. via Product Team, operational initiatives).
- Accountable for all aspects of product launches including launch goals, target market identification, product positioning, internal and external change management, communication plan, launch metrics to ensure success of the launch and complete implementation plan for ongoing management of new service (e.g.: service levels, product material for operations, billing, marketing collateral, policy development and documentation).
- Serves as the business lead at ISC for the product portfolio - including knowledge and deep understanding of the assigned products and services and their underlying processes and technology
- Maintains leading expertise in industry (e.g. industry trends) and appears in front of customers and industry experts to share technical developments as well as continue to position ISC as a leader.
- Responsible to ensure other units within ISC, including Executive and Directors, understand emerging trends in the industry impacting the operation and future direction of ISC for the delivery of product portfolio products and services.
- Product Portfolio Management_
- Develops and implements comprehensive product plans addressing all aspects of product, price, promotion and distribution.
- Ensures affecting and supporting areas of the organization understand product plans and how they support delivery of the products to customers.
- Participates in research and development of recommendation for amendments to policies, procedures and programs, regulations and legislation.
- Under the direction of the Manager, Product Strategy responsible for identifying and integrating emerging customer needs, policy approaches and technology solutions into further development and enhancement of product services to increase customer usage and satisfaction, efficient delivery, new revenue and long-term profitability.

- Develops and implements cross-functional initiatives to ensure the successful delivery of portfolio products and services (e.g.: promotional strategies, education requirements for customers, key initiatives to enable product strategies).
